Guys that huge bass broke my rod last fall. at least I got a new Pennacle.. 40 bucks had to argue with my girl over that money paulpro if you got a boat and are a pro help me out. this year I will catch allie, and maybe get the state record if I do, then get those bragging rights for this year. I dont give up. Against pros. - bytebull - 01-22-2012 Yea my local walmart downsized their sporting good dept. too and now we have 1 row of fishing gear and lures. I have to drive to Jonesboro superstore now if I really want any selection and, I am solid Baitcasting bass fisherman, I rarely use spincasting gear although I do have one really cheap shakespeare that I bought for 19.99 at wallyworld for when I use small jigs and finesse worms. I also only use that spincasting combo for crappie and bream fishing. When I bass fish I usually only use my Pennacle Platinum Plus LP100 reel. It cost me 40 bucks at walmart and is the only bass reel I have right now, my cheap shakespeare one actually stripped a gear out on a bass that was only 5lbs and won't reel in anymore, lol. Those are really cheap reels. [signature]
