Fish are biting at Greers! - Ckelley2 - 01-04-2012

If anyone is looking for where the fish are biting I would definitely take a look at Greers Ferry. Several fish over 5 caught this last week and many other in the 1.5-3 lb range. Try fishing deep on long points next to channel swings. It takes a minute to find them but when you do you can sit on them all day. Approx. 25-40 ft deep yesterday. Good Luck!

You got a report on the Walleye or Kentucky Crappie right now? I have thinking of heading over there for some Walleye fishing in the next few weeks.

Nothing on the walleye, but one of my tournament partners told me that they caught three limits of crappie this past weekend by dropping small tube jigs and minnows in 20-30' deep brush piles! Sorry nothing for walleye, not much of a walleye fishermen. However, when I was there a few weeks ago I did talk to some people focusing along bluff walls, it was early so not sure how they ended up for the day. Good Luck to ya!
