Identify this Fish? - Bronco66 - 01-02-2012 Caught on the California Nevada border in a high altitude lake, but I cant remember the name right now. Any ideas anybody? It looks an awfull lot like a red sided dace.. the red on this one is very faint though.. but if it were my guess its a red sided dace. And they are very close to entering the endangerd species list also! There in the at risk catigory ... After looking at bolth im still pretty sure this is a dace as it is to dull to be a shinet . The only diference between the two really is the shiner is well shinier than a dace.. im sure i could be wrong though.
