Cranks first, spinnerbaits second IMO

What about soft plastics? My favorite is a good crank bite but it doesn't always happen. Soft plastics, in one form or another, always catch fish.

I voted for cranks, but I too have to say that I prefer plastics.

I agree with plastics,but not to mention minnow lures,such as a rebel minnow,or rapala,[Image: bobwink.gif] [#4040ff]FL.mod[/#4040ff]

Got it , [Smile],what about lipless lures such as the rebel wind cheater,"jumping minnow"its a spook, you walk the dog.,I've done well with those for large mouth bass.if I use a lure its for topwater use mostly.

Soft plastics would win the day here if it was posted. Thats my lure of choice 75% of the time.

Depending on the time of year would really drive my answer.

I fish crankbaits all year but drop shots with robo worms are also my go to this time of year here in AZ.

As the bed fish come it will go to a jig and as summer comes in top water and frogs ( I love fishing the frogs)

Spinner baits, Wacky worms, jerk baits and swim baits are all part of the arsenal also during the year.

If i could only take one bait out though it would be a crankbait.
