Willow Beach Thursday - BaySport - 12-30-2011
Thursday, 12/29/11- Well I finally went down to the river. Lanched at about 7:00am, nice calm day with clear water. Trolled about two miles downstream and about two miles upstream.

You know, it is a lot of hard work trolling up and down the river, sitting in a nice seat, drinking coffee and eating pop-tarts. I think I'll try it again sometime.

Nice pics, Baysport. A typical day on the river, eh. It is a nice ride even when I don't hook up... which is darn near every time. haha

Did you have any trouble with weeds fouling your plug?
I can see from the photos that the water is up from two weeks ago.

Every time the lure was reeled in it had a few strands on it but not enough to effect its action.
Been to Willow Beach and caught trout before. Have never caught a striper on the river. First attempt to troll an AC Plug on the river. Don't know if I was even doing the right stuff, just wanted to check it out.
