Curious if anyone has been down there since Sunday. I was on the river Friday night (12/23) and there was a ton of debris in the water. Looked like mother nature threw up everywhere. I think the water level went up a foot or so, most of what i saw was floating dried up moss that was likely on the shore. Made trolling a bitch and my fish finder was going crazy....too bad it was moss boogers....
Heading down tomorrow but dont want to waste the gas if its still crappy water.

I haven't been down there since the last trip a couple weeks back. Hopefully it has cleared up. Please let us know what conditions are if you head out tomorrow.

SO made it down to the river, no love again....I am in a striper slump on the river. The water quality was much better then my last trip though, not as much crap on the surface but still some weeds on the plugs occasionally. Looking on the web i found a site that shows the release amounts on the damn by hour and I see they are doubling the amount of water coming out (10,000+ CFS) in the late evening which makes sense on the high current and junk in the water for night fishing.
Friday morning was packed though, a lot of shore fisherman and about 15 boats on the water just in the area between the fishing pier and MM 52.
