I was woundering if you can fish with two poles in idaho? If so do you have to buy a two pole permit?

Have to have a permit if its on soft water. Ice you can have up to 5.

You do not need a two pole permit for ice fishing. You are allowed 5 poles when you are ice fishing except at lakes that are exceptions like Daniels and Treasureton. So read the local area rules for where you are going.
