p43 of the regulations
Bait: Organic substances, other than rubber, wood feather,
fiber, or plastic, attached to a hook to attract fish. Bait includes insects, insect larvae, worms, dead fish, fish parts, any other animal or vegetable matter, or scented synthetic materials.

Well I went I fished I caught only two fish both 19 1/2 inches of course. One fish at 7:45am and one at 10:30am. I saw no fish cops but did see lots of people. I have no idea how they did but for us it was slow. I am clearly not meant for all natural fishing, my skill set needs some improving
On a side note my daughter had a good time playin on the ice. I'll try a new lake tomorrow good Luck gentlemen see you on the ice
