American Falls Report - fishingrocket - 12-11-2011
I was out fishing the area near the dam boat launch today. The ice was just shy of 5 inches. I ended up with a couple (just under 20" and just under 18"). The biggest that I saw caught was in the six pound range and rumors of one around 9.5 # landed during the week.
I checked Aberdeen and it looked bleak. Nobody was there (on a Saturday) and there was evidence of holes our there so it must have been slow.....

went Saturday me and my dad caught 12 3 over 20'. lost a lot over 5-6 pounds forced them. jaw jacker caught the biggest. we call them the mouse trap if you don't put it on right get you can get smacked in the face. we were using pink jigs and pink ice fly's really slow but when the school came around, we had bite after bite we had four on at one time and lost them all.

i was trying to pull there head out of the hole and with a small hook pulled it right out. so i forced it and lost it.

[center]Sorry guys I am from the Burley area but I fish all over wherever the big fish are and I mainley fish for TROUT I also have a HYDE drift boat so I do go Steelheading when they are running and I do a little Salmon fishing also. My last Steelhead trip my girlfriend kicked my a---
