Mountain Stream Report - Lawdog330 - 10-13-2011 I visit this forum almost every day, but I comment very little. I thought today I would go fish and take some photos so I could contribute to this forum a little bit. And lets face it the fly fishing side doesn't get a lot of threads. I hit a local stream not far from my house. I try to go about 3 or 4 times a month in the fall to this place. Today I fished a little farther upstream than I usually do and I was glad I did. ![]() I caught several browns and rainbows including my personal best brown on this river ![]() ![]() ![]() Most were caught on either a Adams dry, Parachute Black Ant or a BH Pheasant Tail. ![]() Got to love the Fall [signature] Re: [Lawdog330] Mountain Stream Report - flygoddess - 10-14-2011 Awesome!!!! The browns are in spawn mode around SLC's mountainous rivers. They sure are aggressive and fight pretty good for their size too. [signature] |
