Lures for Large Mouth Bass - The_Bassman - 09-06-2011
Hey I am going fishing this weekend on a local lake, and I would like to know what kind of lures are best for small mouth bass. I am using a medium action spinning rod with a spinning reel. Thanks for the help.

hopefuly you are using 6lb line,
go with roostertails
brown soft plastic worms
black crickets if you can find them
gold rapalla
soft plastic minno or shad will work too
if they are hitting these should keep ya bussy

Curly tail grubs rigged on jig heads or soft plastic worms. I do a lot of bass fishing, and have got my stuff from the same place for years.

When I go for smallies I like the white grubs as well. Worms fished weightless are on my other rod. Sencos in black with purple are hitting this year. Good luck and let us see some pics if you can.
