Anyone wiper fish here? - BeginnerSteve - 08-17-2011

I've recently discovered this wonderful fish and I was wondering if anyone else here is a dedicated wiper fisherman? If you've never hooked one you don't know what you're missing. Makes those other bass and trout seem like pansies! When I get a chance I'm gonna post some pictures of some nice ones we've caught this year at spruce run reservoir here in central jersey.

Pansies?? A 4lb small mouth a PANSY. LOL Wipers are great fighters as well and taste better. But never call our favorite fish names. [:p]

Hey, no disrespect but... pound for pound no fish I've ever caught strips the line off your reel like a wiper does.

That being said, I'll take a 4lb smallie any day of the week and twice on sundays [Image: happy.gif].
