Upper Logan River - SBW - 07-14-2011
Has anyone been up to the upper stretches of the Logan River (Red Banks area and above)? I will be attending a scout camp up that way next week and need to get some fishing in if the water flows allow it.

Still heavy flows as of last week. Drove thru last wednesday and WOW is all I can say. I had the fly rod in the car and never bothered to stop. [:/]

We were up there on Sat. and there is still a lot of water coming down. We hit a few spots closer to Beaver Creek area and got one cutthroat on a mosquito.

lots of cutts caught most on panthermartins but a few on sketters hooked into some big trout up beaver crick 1 got cought around a log by the time we got out there he spit the fly the onther one broke my line he felt huge
