Any reports from Ririe? - StickRig - 06-28-2011
Just thinking about hitting Ririe here soon for some of those "monster" bass (biggest I've seen pulled outta there was like 8").
Has anyone fished there lately?

The wife and I fished it a week ago saturday and it was very slow dragging Rapalas. All small bow, koke and dink bass. They must be hiding somewhere or very deep cause didn't mark many fish. Water level is very high and dirty. I'm givin it up unless ya wanta catch suckers off the docks at Blacktail.

A week ago the bass were hanging off the ledges in 15' of water. The conditions were really tough with dirty water and still a bit cold from all the run off coming in. We managed 6 with all of them being big for Ririe. The biggest was steelfisher's 14 1/2" er. Its funny when 14 inches is a trophy but it is all relative depending on the lake.
I will probably be out again soon.
