strike crappie - hulapopper - 06-08-2011
my dad and a couple of his retired buddies went over to strike yesterday after hearing a tip and caught 63 crappie between them. they were fishing in less than 5' of water using a bobber a chartruce jig and from what he said it was manditory to use crappie nibble on the jig. a hint they left there boats at home and fished from a dock...and it wasn't cottonwoods or air force docks[cool]

they looked to be 10 " maybe 11" he said they threw a bunch of dinks back. but too me the 10 " looked like dinks ![shocked] no they were preety nice ones definitly filetable. i sure miss those big thick slabs we used to catch at paddock......
