][fishon] Hi, My name is Mike and my wife and I are avid fisherman and campers, we got married in Dec of 08, and we spend as much time camping and fishing as we can, we are both in our 40's and with this fairly new marriage we are finding ourselves having a hard time with having friends to join us on our trips, she has her friends from her past marriage ect, and I have mine from my past, but some times its hard to bring them or even get them to go with us because they are from our individual past, so we are looking to find some new friends together who love to be out doors and camp and fish and enjoy life like we do, and who are in our age group, if there is a husband and wife team out there that can relate to us please get in contact with me and we will get together and go do some camping and fishing, we are in so need of new friends..... thank you Mike H. email address is Mhamber08@gmail.com[signature]

Welcome to the forum! There are lots of us who fish and camp with our wives.[cool] I don't have any big camp trips other than a pack trip or two this summer since my vacation disappeared really quick this year. I know that several of us usually make day trips many more times though.

we spend alot of time either at strawberry or lost lake in the uintas, we take a yearly trip to Flaming Gorge which is coming up June 11 for a week, she has a 17yr who loves riding dirt bikes, he just got a new Honda 250 so now I have the smaller one for me and my wife its only a yamaha ttr 125 but its fun to ride, my wife and her ex use to go down to the dunes and ride their atvs so she loves to ride, we have a f250 hd diesel and a 23ft trailor and float tubes for each one of us, and if we could we would spend every day up camping and fishing, and riding some times also, so do you and your spouse enjoy that life style, and kids, like i said we have one at home hes 17 other then that its just me and my wife, most the time he would rather hang out with his friends then go with us....lol...

And once again as I said its so hard to find people to go, her past friends are use to her and her old ways and mine the same we need to start over with the friend thing and she is so out door type, as am I most of our friends are the stay at home type and are not into the camping and fishing life style, and we love it.

we camp and fish the berry a few times a year, we have a little trailer and our own pontoons and all, some extra company could never hurt that lake. next time we go will more then likely be in august. stick around the forums. we have met some great people on here and fished some amazing spots.

I am looking to head out tomorrow for a little tubin. Have narrowed it down to thre places. Newton, Strawberry, or Starvation. Mamatrout and the minnows won't be able to be there because it is the last week of school. But I am free....[cool] Pm me if interested.

Would love to, but until i get flaming gorge out of the way in a couple weeks we are stuck, but i will let you know when we get back which is the 19th will most definitly get a hold of ya and take the tubes up, is strawberry ice free i havnt heard yet?

Yes strawberry is ice free. Also week of 19-23 unavailable. I will be in Oakland for my yearly trip for training.[crazy] Week after that I will be in the boulders with my son packing and tubing there.[cool]
