Rain Rain Go Away - smallmouth89 - 05-28-2011

I've only been out three times this spring. It has been raining for two weeks now. Weather said today would be the day to fish. They lied! It was pouring rain at 5 a.m. so I went back to bed. I don't mind fishing in the rain but forecast was updated to thunderstorms and fish don't usually co-operate with thunderstorms approaching. I can see from reading a number of posts that many of you are experiencing similar weather. Is it even raining all the time in California?

God Bless,
Don (S.Ontario, Canada)

The sun just started to shine here in Calgary after a week of rain.

[cool][#0000ff]We get all the "California mist"...whatever missed California hits us. Global warming? Ha! The only thing hot here is the skiing. One ski resort is planning to stay open until July 4th...a record. Our daytime temps are averaging about 20 degrees below normal and we have some rain every week. Our creeks and rivers are flooding and our reservoirs are overflowing...with enough snow still left in the mountains to refill them a couple of times over. [/#0000ff]
