Utah Lake/ Knolls 5-22 - jonesnforfish - 05-23-2011
Hit the Knolls today... I fished from 11 A.M. to 1:15 P.M. The action was really slow to start. I didn't have one fish until noon. It picked up from there and the last hour I caught 10 white Bass. Because of the Rain there weren't many people there so it was rather peaceful. I did see on gentleman catch a fatty Walleye from the bank. I was out in my toon casting streamers. I caught all the fish on bugger patterns. The fish were within 5 feet from the shore most of the time. I was kicking myself for forgetting my thermometer, I also forgot a cooler. I don't keep to many fish, but I have been jones'n for some fish tacos. I put the fish in a trash bag in the back of the truck and drove the 45 minutes back to SLC. I dumped the fish into a bucket to start the fillet fest and one of them was still flipping around. Now that is a tough fish.
