Weird Request - Telbone - 05-16-2011 Heya guys.. This is sorta weird, but I want to make a short video clip on how to remove a hook that accidentally gets stuck in a person...WITHOUT going to the doctor and painlessly. The method works and I personally have used it twice in the last 10 years. What I need is a material that I can put a hook in that will resemble human flesh. Do any of you guys know of something that will fit this requirement cheaply? I am quite sure that a lot of you guys know what I am talking about, but I am consistently amazed at how many hardcore fisherman don't know this. Any help is greatly appreciated, [signature] Re: [Telbone] Weird Request - BigE - 05-16-2011 [cool]Maybe try a pig's foot. You can get them at the grocery store kind of cheap. I don't know how tough the skin is though. Just a thought. [shocked] You might take a search on You-Tube, I think there are a number of methods demonstrated. [url "http://www.simplesurvival.net/hooks.htm"]THIS link [/url]has ur 3 basic techniques. Re: [CoyoteSpinner] Weird Request - Largemouth_kid - 05-17-2011 Chicken flesh is close to human flesh. Pug will go but it's tougher, so if your pulling a those are the two best choices. Almost anything's gotta be better than cutting the hook and pushing the point out, or worse, yanking it out with a pair of pliers. Please do post how you do it. [signature] Re: [GEEZER] Weird Request - Telbone - 05-18-2011 I am making a video of it, but I also have been working a bunch this week so finding time is an issue... as soon as I get it made the blog post is ready and I'll post it for you guys.
