Fish and Game Department will hold a public hearing regarding permits for six proposed marine aquaculture operations in Portsmouth Harbor at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Fish and Game's Region 3 Office, 225 Main Street, Durham, N.H. Six aquaculture applicants -- five commercially licensed N.H. fishermen and the University of New Hampshire -- are proposing fish cage operations that will hold steelhead rainbow trout in floated net enclosures at established and permitted boat mooring locations in Portsmouth Harbor, N.H.
