Palimino or albino trout Wheeeee! - Jimbojump - 04-20-2011 I was fishing the Arrowrock dam tail waters yesterday and landed this awefully pretty albino trout....for a fisherman like myself its like catching a piece of candy or dessert...LOL...Anyone else had the pleasure of one of these beauties?[fishin][] [signature] Re: [Jimbojump] Palimino or albino trout Wheeeee! - wormsinker - 04-20-2011 they are kinda cool lookin fish, however the ones that ive caught tasted nasty maybe it was the water i caught them out of but they were really mushy, dont know for sure. Even the ponds I guess have both. People even call them Goldens and Albinos, but there are Palominos in the same waters, so it is confusing. I am no biologist either, but I always grouped each differently. I too said Albino, he corrected me. They have been stocked numerous times in diverse places...not a native species obviously.
