I hope they were as fun to catch for you as they were for me to look at [cool] [signature] Re: [HYDROFISH] DC Browns - SportfishinSteve - 04-03-2011 [#000050]We were at DC on Saturday trolling for Rainbows. The fish are running around 30' deep. The water temp is around 42-44 degrees and the fish are still scattered. We did pretty well until around 2:ooPM when the wind monstor rolled in. It got rough enough that is was tough to load a boat. We managed around 10 fish in the 1.5 lb range. No ice left.[/#000050] [signature] Re: [HYDROFISH] DC Browns - MasterBaiter72 - 04-04-2011 NICE FISH!! How far down were you? [signature] Re: [MasterBaiter72] DC Browns - HYDROFISH - 04-04-2011 5 feet down 125 back from the boat, The fish are shallow rite now that is where the water is the warmest [signature] Re: [HYDROFISH] DC Browns - Gumbo - 04-09-2011 Beautiful browns! Been trying to get out there after them myself. [signature] Re: [HYDROFISH] DC Browns - GorgeHound - 04-10-2011 Interesting...... Never thought of using a down-rigger at 5', but I guess it would help an F-7 to get under the surface a bit. Thanks for the info. I've always used lead core with a 30'-50' or so leader and 1 to 2.5 colors when using those small lures and the fish are high. Randy [signature] |
