For me it usually depends on the season but lately i've been using a jig head with a floater as a trailer, with minnows of coarse. Been able to get my limit of walleye every time. plus a couple extra that i throw back.

The funest way for me is throwing jigs. You just can`t cover as much water that way. fishon
