I just called West Magic Resort. It sounds like there's still 12"-16" of ice, but the edges are toast. There might be enough open water down by the dam to fish from shore.
With this mild weather, it shouldn't be long.

Sagebrush that is good news. It's unbelievable how fast the ice can receed, just last Saturday I fished up in the narrows and caught a bunch of dandy trout. Cant wait to get my tube in the water and see if I can beat last springs fish, it was an 8.5lb brown on a fly up by Hot Springs Landing.[fishin]
