Lake Mead Feb 25 - stripercraze - 02-26-2011
I took the day off to fish a trout plant before they stop on Lake Mead. Watch weather on thursday night and did not look good. Went to bed and woke up early anyway. Checked weather bug for LV marina reports. Wind steady 20 mph with gusts up to 45.
Buddy showed up at 9:30 the trout are now swimming around. No fish yet. Only boat on water. Hooked up first fish 8.5 lbs. There is a sign of hope. A little time passed then hooked up a five pounder. Then had another hooked and came off. Then buddy CHAD hooked up on a five.
Pretty good day so far. Then to end the day I hooked up a 16 lber weighed on two different scales because it looked and felt bigger but i quess not. Off the lake at dark.Great day on the Lake [fishin]
