Lake Mead Questions - lucabrasi - 02-19-2011
We are going to be in the area in a month or so and hoping to find a place to camp and fish.
We have a small camp trailer and kayaks and are hoping to find somewhere in the St. George area or even Lake Mead to spend the week. Any suggestions would be great on where we could camp and fish on the lake.
Sunshine and water are the priority but do hope to find a spot where fishing could be productive. Doesn't matter the species although would rather target something other than trout.
Any ideas would be great.

If it were up to me I would rather fish some spots in southern utah. But if you do decide to come down to lake mead read this website it has all the info you need. I heard temple bar (the az side) has nice campgrounds.
