Looking for information. Anyone heard of this new company FireFly Rods and their new lineup of rods? Supposed to be comparable to St. Croix in quality and cost. Tough to believe indeed. Supposed to come out in April.

no i havent??? new to me. but i use custom built rods. i prefer to have them built becaulse i get to chose my handle type rod blank guides and what wrap pattern is on the rod. my cost is about 150 for a custom. utwalleye is the rod building moddorater he builds them for me.[

My daughter and I build custom rods too. St. Croix. Average rod built around 200, but I wont build anything less than an SC III and put my name on it. I do some custom work with Batson, but that is usually 4wt fly rods used as Crappie rigs.
