i will be hitting the clearwater tomorrow and still havnt fished in between hog island and oriphino. is there anybody familiar with this stretch that would wanna pm me a place or two i can fish from the bank? thanks.

I'd say you're braver than me. The river's up 4-6 FEET in the last few days depending on where you look...
The North Fork is usually pretty stable though, that's usually where I end up in situations like this.

I'd agree with the above post. N. Fork or dont overlook the crack pipe in the pole yard at these high flows........

WHAT IS THE CRACK PIPE IN THE POLE YARD? LOL? i fished the northfork this evening for the last couple of hours of light missed 2 take downs still trying to get the jig and bobber thing down. people were catching fish though two boats that came in had caught a few. we also saw quite a few swimming right off the bank but they didnt seem to like my jig. ill get it down soon though. ran into a local from oriphino who helped me out a little nice guy he sales his own fishing scents and game calls.
