[fishin]I just bought a house in mesquite! I am from utah and fish mead in jan.feb.put in echo bay do you have to have the 20$ park pass for boat & truck to fish this part of the lake? I can't wait to meet up with fellow BFT fishermen! Any help would help.

Why wouldnt you have to pay? [:p] Come on its $20 bucks man just pay the fee it helps out the park in the end.
If you pass through any entrance station into lake mead rec area during normal business hours you have to pay day use or purchase the yearly. If no one is at the booth your expected to use the drop box.

[fishin]I don't mind paying,iv'e never seen a place to pay going from overton! I buy a yearly pass to flaming gorge {every year} Ijust didn,t know where to pay! When should you buy a year fishing license, I heard it was like utah before they started 365 day fishing license.

Annual licenses expire in february, so it's best to buy them then so that you get the full year. But i do not recommend waiting to get the license if you are already fishing. The fine is about 10x the cost of the license.
