Island park - ironrod - 12-28-2010 Didn't start fishing until 2:30. Ice was 8" total 3 layers of slush/ice. [signature] Re: [ironrod] Island park - chrome_junky - 12-28-2010 ifished it yesterday only landing 2 one 20 inch bow and 1 10 inch bow in the four hours we were there. pink paddle bug was the only thing we got hits on we also fished 10 to 15 feet of water 2 hours at the damn 2 hours at lakeside probably missed around 12 fish. Mmdon- [laugh]- almost needed! The " good ice" was at best 2". This time of year I usually take a shovel and build a trough with a bench to stand on. It won't be long before the extension is needed to get through. I remember being up there a couple of times when guys were fishing shallow, 3 foot. I asked them if they knew they were fishing between the layers of ice. ![]() [signature] |
