recent deep creek devils ice rep? - redneck_delux - 12-22-2010
just wondering how thick the ice is if anyone has been to either place this week. any info would be apreciated! thanks

The slush as of today is still frozen. It look like 2.5" of black ice and 2.5" of frozen slush. Lots of little fish but a couple of good ones in the mix. Caught my first Deep Creek cutthroat.

thanks for the report icesore. i have never gotten any cutts out of there but ive never been out on the hard deck there either. usually just in the tube hookin bass, bows and used to get the occasional koke a long time ago. im excited to give it a try this year!

On Saturday Devils creek had 10" of solid ice with 3" of snow on top . Most fish were 12 to 13 " long . My buddy did get one real nice 19" . Curt G.
