I hope to go Thursday or Friday to either Mackay, Chesterfield, or maybe American Falls. I would love to meet up with anyone on the ice if you are going. I plan on fishing a few days in the next week and a half since I will have the rest of the year off work.

a family member of mine caught one last summer out of there. it was huge 2 1/2 pounds but i havnt heard of one being caught other than that in a long time. devils creek has them.

i know they stock devils creek with kokes pretty regular. and im on the ice up there quite a bit but i can never hook any. i just want to try something a little different.... and maybe just maybe catch one or two! ive tried to catch those things for years now on the deck but to no avail..... i can catch just about anything but the illusive kokanee salmon! oh well maybe the fishing gods will
on me one day and i will be able to put one on ice []

] Those Kokanee have eluded me also. Many a time I have had people within feet of me catching them, but not me. Last year at Devils a guy put three on the ice in 30 minutes 15 ft away from me. Nice sized fish too. He offered me a hole right next to his. He iced two more while I caught 3 troat. Good luck though !![signature]

I caught a couple there last year, but it was totaly random as they were mixed in with the trout.

I was going to go on Christmas Eve but changed my mind . I will be at Devils Creek on Tuesday . This is going to be a Zoo . I am taking 5 granddaughters . I will post a report and pictures when I get back . Curt G.

I will be on the Salmon River somewhere between Salmon and down river below Shoup. The river was pretty slushy today, so I may not find much of anywhere tomorrow to fish.
