South central Idaho ice conditions? - flyguy66 - 12-12-2010
Anyone have information on ice conditions in this area? It has been quite warm so I'm not expecting magic, walcott, salmon falls, or Oakley to have safe ice. However, if anyone knows otherwise, Info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and tight lines!

There is no ice! Freind of mine fished Magic from the bank last weekend and said there was barely a skiff of ice down by them dam and everything else is all open.

I found 5" at Carey 2 weeks ago, not sure about now Mormon Res should have ice, but I don't know of anyone who actually fishes it.

Just read on another forum that people have been ice fishing at lake Walcott. They said there was 2-4 inches of ice and reports were variable. Anyone been out there?
