Herriman Snow Bow's - pa - 12-03-2010
Hi Folks,
Hit Herriman Pond today for a couple hours. Was
the only one there for most of my time, then a spin fisher came to play also. There is quite a bit of open water still. Over 3/4 of thee pond is still open.
Started with a black bugger and did pretty well. Landed 4 on that one. That turned off so I went to a brown
crystal bugger with no luck. Went to a white bugger and hooked up first cast. Just before the shore, either thee knot failed or the line broke. Anyway lost the fish and the only white bugger I had. Went home after that.
Don't know what the temp was but had no problem with the guides icing up. Was using one of Joni's furled leaders and it didn't freeze either. Only got a picture of the first fish cause the batteries in the camera died. Was a good day. Going to try the willow tomorrow
