Nils Augers are Sharp! Plus Henry's report! - OvidCreek - 11-26-2010 Greetings, Henry's was a different world today: more people, windy, less fish, but still had a blast! My son and I iced 15 and mssed several others largest was a 22'' cutt he caught! Thats two days in a row he out fished me. Maybe Windriver and I should send our two punk sons off together then we will see how they do[ ![]() ![]() Hope all did well! I hope to hit Rigby Lake, Roberts, or Rexburg in the next two days I will let you know how it goes. OvidCreek [signature] Re: [OvidCreek] Nils Augers are Sharp! Plus Henry's report! - jigs - 11-27-2010 i always carry a first aid kit in my fishing/hunting bag. knives, hooks, and cold add for a bad combination. cold hands always seem to fumble around and if you do hit your skin you dont seem to feel like you normaly do so you end up cutting yourself worse. i sure hope you heal up well. Definetly a scar and trip you wont forget soon. [signature] Re: [MMDon] Nils Augers are Sharp! Plus Henry's report! - OvidCreek - 11-27-2010 MMDon, I bet almost anything will work, white glow seemed to be a little more active. Pink tail jigs, and chartruce paddlebugs also produced fish. On both days I have has "honey hole" spots; just another good purpose of the five pole rule. OvidCreek [signature] Re: [OvidCreek] Nils Augers are Sharp! Plus Henry's report! - OvidCreek - 11-27-2010 Rigby Lake is actually a pretty fun place to fish as they have been planting it in the summer for the past three years. There is about a good month ice fishing season then the water starts to drop. There has been talk of using the drybed channel to keep water in it all winter long, but who knows if this will ever happen. OvidCreek [signature] Re: [OvidCreek] Nils Augers are Sharp! Plus Henry's report! - windriver - 11-27-2010 Hope you heal fast. We had a huge school of small ones come through. No big ones today. Like you said more people. We caught most of ours before they showed up. Henrys is an awesome lake when you can catch 23 fish before 10 am most of them 15_20" and it seems like a slower day.[sly] I will post some pics Sunday. Windriver [signature] Re: [OvidCreek] Nils Augers are Sharp! Plus Henry's report! - MMDon - 11-27-2010 It does seem like one hole always catches the majority of the fish! Makes you want to look around down there and try to figure out why! ![]() [signature] Re: [MMDon] Nils Augers are Sharp! Plus Henry's report! - jigs - 11-27-2010 +1 [signature] |
