I've been watching the weather, looks like you will be cutting holes long before us here in the east. Although it's getting colder. Good luck and be safe.

Sorry about the confusion. No one was talking so I thought I would just show my ice fishing preparations, hard water toon being my sled.

[cool][#0000ff]Yeah, Mama Nature is over her hot flashes and is really "chillin" down here in Utah too. Already had some folks fishing 3" of ice in the lower Uintas and there is some skim ice forming on lower elevation waters. After our next week of forecast weather we should be well on our way to hard deck fishing.[/#0000ff]

No sorry to say for both places but the walleye have been cooperating at times for some at Salmon and people were gewtting some nice bass at magic as well as a few trout trolling deep.

I did have a wonderfull experience at Cascade in Oct. when Gloria and I were there for a married couples retreat. She went for a needed nap and I got to go out with some friends who had brought there 12' boat up and we drifted for some perch for a couple of hours. Here's the stringers my friends wife is holding.

My hope is get up there around Christmas or New Years for some through the ice, I sure pray it comes together![cool][fishin]

[cool][#0000ff]Now those are some MAGNUM perchies. Some guys here in Utah would do just about anything to get into perch like that. I am one of them.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Thanks for posting the pics. I am not familiar with Cascade. Where is it located?[/#0000ff]

So do you use Ice Fishing Flies as part of your arsenal and being a fly fisherman?
