hemmingway harbor 9/24 - syncityangler - 09-25-2010 got a wild hair up my u know where, and decided to drop the misses off at work and take the suv out to the lake after driving around for an hour and a half i found a nice little cove just south of the hemmingway pier (had to make my own road lol fun fun fun) and the bite was on!! i caught probly 14 stripers in 2 hours i lost count, unfortunetly they were all dinks 4-10 inchers but they were fun on the ultralight wit 4 lb test. lots and lots of striper boils i seen like 6 in just an hour all out of casting distance. that was kind of a bummer. great day on the water though. if not for throwing off all the lures that they were hitting i would have stayed longer, i was casting silver little cleo spoons and homemade spoons drenched in nitro gravy they loved them. tight lines everyone.
