South fork Ogden - kokomocaller - 09-16-2010 anyone fished this lately? Thinking about going out tomorrow am to chase some browns. The river is just beautiful right now--decent flows, clear water and about a billion caddis cases on every rock. I didn't see fish rising but was using a new Tenkara rod and thought casting dry flies would be better practice so I used a size 18 tan caddis & a size 14 tan X Caddis--caught 2 browns on the tan and 2 on the X and had a few other good takes on each that I missed. When I left there were noticeably more caddis flying around so I bet the dries would have been very good in the evening.
