Water levels are average to just below average for this time of year.
There is a R E A L L Y B I G log/tree jammed between the dam and the fish ladder where everyone crowds around to toss a spawn bag. Should be interesting fishing for sure.
Going to go check the holes near the post office this week and see if there are any pre-run walleyes in the area.

They are a little line shy on the Manistee a guy from work reported today about this weekends fishing.
The impact from a sinker hitting the water is enough to drive them from a hole .
