Recent Chesterfield Reports ???? - BiteMe - 09-01-2010 Toying with the idea of heading up to Chesterfield this weekend, but would like to hear a recent report before I decide. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance. PM me if you need to. [signature] Re: [BiteMe] Recent Chesterfield Reports ???? - BiteMe - 09-04-2010 I guess I'll have to answer my own post. I went up on Friday. Fishing was slow to say the least. I ended up with around a dozen, the biggest going about 20". The average was probably about 17". I did best on any fly that had some black in it. 12 - 16' seemed to be the best for me. Nice day and not too many people. I just haven't gotten on the lakes lately. I need to get out to some of the lakes more. Summer always seems to draw me off to the mountains. I hope that you have better weather and less wind than we had at Chesterfield in July! In my humble world, a slow day means skunk to 3 and I have to work the water hard to get the 3. Keep the tippets wet! I am always interested in Chesterfield, but haven't made it down there in a while. Windriver [signature] Re: [eagleflyfshr] Recent Chesterfield Reports ???? - BiteMe - 09-07-2010 Wasn't too many years ago I had some 40-60 fish mornings with the average fish in the 18-19" range and several going over 20 & up to 26".
