Selway-Bitterroot wilderness - BS - 08-25-2010 I'm going on a moose hunt with a friend in the Lolo pass area next week. We're taking 4 mules and packing in 12 miles. We already have a lake picked out that we're going to camp on. I was wondering if anyone on here has ever fished the back country up there and how the fishing is? Thanks. I've fished the Lochsa and it's pretty sweet (if you like dry flies and cutties), and I've seen some pictures of some nice fish that came out of some of the lakes up there, but I've yet to experience it for myself yet. Good luck and let us know how you do! [signature] |
