lake mead 8/23/10 - BigE - 08-23-2010
[cool]Went south of 33 hole this am and on the water at 7:15. Wind was up but finally settled down. First boil started at 9:30 and had sporatic boils til noon. Most were way out, too far to kick in the tube. Had one erupt right in front of me and got a 2lber out of it. A couple more were close but no takers. Was using a white curlytailed grub. Off the water at noon. A nice outing but a little warm.

Nice pic and report Big E well done[cool] ur makin me wanna pump the tube up and get some striper action im just too lazy[sly] Ive witnessed a boil or 2 sunday but it didnt last long and it was quite aways out from the 33 hole area. Untill then[fishin]

I took my dad out for his first ever largemouth trip on monday morning - launched out of callville at 4 am and fished til 8, when i found that my gas tank in my outboard motor was leaking gas all over the place! Bad news cut the trip short, but we each landed two quality largemouth on plastics before it happened. I guess the vibration and heat got to my poor plastic gas tank. The motor is a 2007... I didn't think i'd have this problem for a while.
