Nice catch! What state,Lake,River,color of lure/worm or what ever you used to catch it and give more information how you caught that 7 pounder.Don't you practice Catch, Weight, Measure, Photograph and Release. If you don't maybe you hold start thinking about it.If you catch a 1.5 # to 2.5 if you want to eat them this size is fine. But the one you have caught will still grow larger and it could be a New State record. So try to practice , C.W.M.P.and R.

Nice fish! You should practice catch and release though. Take a camera with you and maybe you can catch her again someday. looks more like a 5 pounder to me though.

Nice fish Jordanlee. I wouldn't have released it either. I release 99 percent of my fish but when I catch a nice one, it goes on the wall. Hate me if you want, but I just can't throw em back.

I agree, looks awful close the 4.5 pounder I caught a year ago. Either way, that's still a mighty fine bass. Congrats!

Your scale is broke !!! I'm guessin 5.5lbs tops and thats bein generous..As a payin angler you have the right to keep what your legally capable of but we all know the smaller ones cook up the best and a guy can get a fiberglas replica of any fish on the planet if he tried hard enough= just sayin.. Practice selective harvest the bigger fish are usually the spawners creating the genetics of the lake..

its a big bass,but your a big guy ,so I think you make it look small,anyway looks like an easy 6 to me,I'm a small dude ,so my bass look big,here is a 6 and a 9.9,just thought I'd share[blush]
