Beginner going to Jackson WY - JHFishingTrip - 08-19-2010 I am thinking about going to Jackson WY to visit the beautiful parks, and was thinking that I might want to try fly fishing out there. I found this great lodging and private guided fishing package offered by the point inn and suites. $230/person is great for what I have found in Jackson. Is Jackson a good place to learn how to fly fish, the guide says he does lessons, but I am still a little nervous! Has anyone tried this package at the Point Inn and Suites or gone fishing with Jason Falk or fishingwithj.com ? How good is the regular fishing in Jackson in the early fall? Thanks everyone in advance for their input! If you are left on your own try the tail water about a ½ mile down stream from Jackson Lake. Lots of Cutts to have fun with. Here is the area I had in mind. The Cutts were killing my drys right along the seam. [/#008000][/font][inline srs.jpg] [signature] |
