What type of fish is this? - jacob64 - 08-04-2010 I caught the fish in the link on a clam and cod hook a few miles past the Isles of Shoals in Maine/ Newhampshire. What is it? http://jacobsflutters.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=93649382 [signature] Re: [jacob64] What type of fish is this? - BADFISH - 08-05-2010 that appears to be a pollock or pollack, a member of the cod fish family. they can grow to near 3 feet and are a deep bodied fish. they have also become populare table fare due to overfishing of other types of cod and haddock.
