ok I fished in a bass contest this past week on a lake I haven't fished in year's....rifle lake..the bass fishing was great ..but what I really liked about it ..it was a clean lake ..one of the cleanest lake's I ever seen in the last ten year's..
and the blues gill's and perch OMFG it's a great fishing lake ... if you ever get up that way ..stop and and give it a try ..it;s off rose city road ... east of rose city ..west of long lake in the Hale area... down cedar lake road ...next to the bar ....I will say this .... I will be back to that lake soon..... oh we took second place in the contest ...out of 15 boats

Last time I was there, I stopped at a resturant in town for breakfast, and on the wall there were mounted half a dozen "18 inch lunker sized perch"
Those mounts were susposed to have come out of that lake...[
