Swan Falls Report 7/10 - Larkinforce - 07-12-2010
Went to Swan Falls Friday night till Saterday morning. Did not have even one catfish hit our bait, Hit a few bass on worm. The sturgon were jumping just off shore in front of us all night. Sounded like a car dropping into the river. Saw a doe and two fawns feeding on the island in front of the dam (pic attached). The cats must be sick of my chicken liver. Always caught them on them before.

I love to fish Swan Falls above the dam with my boat for bass but haven't made it yet this year. With the high water earlier in the year and fishing other places now, it looks like fall will be the earliest chance I'll get.

We started right next to the dam on the east side just south of the boat launch, then walked over the dam to the west side and fished nexted to the dam then went back to the east side north of the boat launch just north of the point by the boat launch, basically just east of the north end of the island. We have caught at the location before.
