Well i made another great trip to the San juan river in N.M. I fished for 4 days and ended up with 25 fish.. I did see some big old bows landed this yr..unfortunately i didnt land any of them.. but the ones i did catch were nice bows / browns & full of engery. I did lose a couple of fat boys.. one of which took me out past my backing And once in the fast water i knew i had lost the battle.. [pirate] Now remember I was using 6x leader & # 22 midge emerger..[:/] Cant wait to get back..[cool]

They sure do make you go small down there, but I love it. Those bows fight hard!
Nice looking fish... it looks like you had a good time.
Just FYI, I had a buddy get a steep ticket for having a "nub" on his hook recently. The fish and game in NM must be on a tear or something. He had smashed the barb, but they wanted it filed off completely. It was a crappy deal if you ask me.
