panhandle idaho/ northwest montana fly fishing - AL_Ravarino - 07-02-2010
we are staying between kalispell and whitefish and need some good places to do wade fish near this area .. please help me out this is my first big fishing trip.

Never FF that area. Lake Koocanusa was great for kok's at onetime. Have you considered fishing the Elk River around Fernie, BC? Right about 100 miles away and well worth it. [fishon]

Call the local Guide Shops in the area and ask them about local rivers and put in's for wade fishing. You don't specifically say you are fly fishing...but, if so, ask them about fly's to use. If you get the same answer from 2 out of 5...go there.
