My dad and I hit the berry yesterday and the fish are still in pretty shallow. We were stripping buggers over the flats and ended up catching 25 fish with 2 slot busters and 4 bows. We only fished till noon. The bite really picked up and had more consistent hits from 10:00 till 12 as the bugs started to come off. Too bad I had to head for home. The chubs are still in spawning but I saw no cutts chasing them.
